Donor Committee for Enterprise Development Working Group: Linkages and value chains

This Working Group is co-chaired by Doyle Baker of FAO and Michele Clara of UNIDO; it held a scoping meeting in 2006, at which member agencies presented their current work in this area.

It also commissioned a study on "Donor Approaches to Supporting Pro-Poor Value Chains", by Tilman Altenburg, which was published in its final form in January 2007.

Most recently, the Working Group held a Technical Workshop on the theme "Engaging the Private Sector", in the FAO's headquarters in Rome, April 23-25, 2007.
