What can this site do?

The Regoverning Markets website embraces the idea of dynamic, real-time, and decentralised contribution and interaction for the purpose of creating an online community of participatory and mutually re-enforcing organizations globally. This will encompass not only the empirical and case study research taking placeacross the globe, but also will provide a broader forum for learning, debate, and participation for interest groups and regions. The results generated from the learning alliances and policy dialogue, driven from both research outcomes and policy linkages, will be communicated on the site.

The site allows sophisticated login and permissions between different user ‘groups' from regions and interest groups across the Regoverning programme. The aim is develop flourishing participation within communities (in a ‘MySpace' type mentality) and also between communities for the greater benefit and learning of the programme. There is a provision for forum discussion, resource repository, wikis, and the ability for group admins to easily manage their own articles/photos without any web-developing experience.

The website also provides better support for the programme members with their own member area including sharing documentation, and arranging both events and e-discussions.

How can I get involved?

We are looking for organisations who wish to contribute to the site, whether by supplying news from their regions or having an entire section under a particular region or interest area for informing the Regoverning Community of activities they are involved in, as well as providing a space for discussion and resources. Please Contact our Management Team if you are interested.
